Designer Creations is a small, family-run kitchen workshop just outside Hereford, in Bishops Frome. We design, build and install every kitchen ourselves — no showroom mark-ups, no subcontracted fitters. If you are planning a new kitchen anywhere in Hereford or the surrounding villages, this is what working with us looks like.
Hereford is a city of awkward, characterful rooms — Victorian terraces around Whitecross and Tupsley, period cottages in the older streets, 1930s semis in Belmont and Holmer, and newer builds spreading out toward the bypass. Off-the-shelf kitchens rarely fit any of them properly.
Because we build to the room rather than to a catalogue, we can work around the sloping floor, the chimney breast, the too-small box room, or the long galley that every flat-pack range pretends doesn't exist. That is the whole point of bespoke, and it is why most of our Hereford work starts with a site visit, not a brochure.
We come to you, measure properly, and talk through how you actually use the room. No deposit to get to this stage, and no pressure afterwards. Most Hereford visits are arranged within a week or two.
Sketches, layout options, and an itemised quote within about two weeks of the visit — so you can see exactly where the money goes before committing to anything.
Cabinets are made in our Bishops Frome workshop and installed by the same people who built them. A typical Hereford kitchen runs from £18,000; our cost guide breaks down what drives that figure.
We'd been quoted by two of the big Hereford showrooms and felt like a number. Designer Creations actually came out, looked at our weird Victorian back kitchen, and designed around it. Couldn't be happier.— A client, Hereford (2024)
Start with an email. We'll arrange a visit, talk through the room, and follow up with sketches and a written quote — no obligation either way. You can also read how we work about the firm or browse the portfolio first.
